Lisa Bennett

I am proud to announce my 2025 candidacy for State Assembly in Legislative District 9. I have been a fierce local advocate for Stafford residents and will do the same if elected to the Assembly. As a candidate for council in Stafford Township working with the Stafford United & Strong Team, we ran an aggressive, grassroots campaign knocking on over 4,500 Democratic, Republican and Unaffiliated doors. I will bring that same energy and enthusiasm to my campaign for Assembly. Affordability is first and foremost on everyone's mind in our towns. Our seniors are unable to stay in their homes while our young people can't purchase their first home. Our legislature has to make the cost of living our state's number one priority. Property tax relief, holding our utility companies accountable, and finding solutions for affordable childcare will go a long way in accomplishing these goals. Our infrastructure along with our hard earned tax dollars needs to be better managed.

Don Campbell

My name is Donald Campbell. I have lived in South Jersey for a lifetime, growing up in Egg Harbor Township and attending Egg Harbor Township High School. I graduated from Atlantic Cape Community College and Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. I then attended Widener University Delaware Law School, where I received my JD. I have cerebral palsy, a congenital disorder of movement, muscle tone, or posture. I have been the Executive Director at the Atlantic Center for Independent Living, a community-based non-profit that supports people with disabilities in obtaining the skills and resources they need to live independently. My personal and professional experience make me empathize with and understand the challenges of everyday people living in this state, and it has given me the skills necessary to bring people together to solve problems.

Rosalee Keech

As someone born, raised and lived my entire life in NJ and a registered Democrat since I’m 18, I am proud to be part of the “Democrats for Change Team”, running in LD 9 for State Assembly. After spending decades working in financial industry and being in the north tower on 9/11, I have dedicated my “retirement” career to protecting women’s rights globally. I am at the forefront of the fight against human trafficking as the United Nations Observer for PACT by ECPAT-USA by focusing on bankrupting its illicit profiteering and ending demand. I previously served as Chief Observer to the United Nations for the League of Women Voters of the United States, where I worked on increasing women’s leadership and participation in democratic political processes, human rights, and preventing violence against all women and girls. Driven by my commitment to preventing human trafficking, she serves as President of the NGO Committee to Stop Human Trafficking in Persons, Inc. and is a member of both the New Jersey Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Task Force and its Business/Regulatory Agencies subcommittee. I also serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, in Bergen County.

My goals are twofold:
1) Use taxpayer dollars wisely-- New Jersey has a 2025 spending budget of $84+billions. From ineffective programs, road construction that lasts for decades, to funding politicians' vs constituents' priorities, it's time that we look at ways to insist that our dollars are spent wisely!
2) Prevent violence, especially against women and girls--according to UN Women, 1 in 3 adult women have been violated at some point in their lives. It's time to understand what programs work effectively in preventing victimization, in addition to aiding victims.

Samuel Pinkava for Ocean County Clerk

Pinkava has been a veteran math educator for over 15 years. He started his career in Baltimore City, taught three years in Budapest, Hungary, and he then landed at Ocean County College in 2019. He took a break from teaching in 2023 to work for Scouting America’s Jersey Shore Council. Last year, he decided to go back to the classroom, and he is now at South Plainfield Middle School. Pinkava has taught many different math subjects to students from many different backgrounds. He has also received extensive training in sales and management through Scouting America.
Pinkava is a five year resident of Waretown, and he is ready to settle down in a beautiful community that he has come to know and love. He is a father of three young children, a Scouting America Den Leader for Pack 156 in Lacey, and he is an active volunteer for Wellspring Church in Toms River. You may also find him participating from time to time at the Lacey Soccer Club or enjoying concerts at the Albert Music Hall.
Pinkava is running on a platform of fixing the S2 school funding formula. Too many Ocean County residents like himself have lower than average incomes but high property values. This means that Pinkava and his neighbors must pay higher school taxes than other communities with higher incomes. By eliminating property value from the school funding formula, the local fair share of Ocean County would decrease by about $440 million. This change would allow school boards in Ocean County to request more funding from the state and less taxes from local residents.
